Congratulations on beginning this exciting part of your life! We are here to help see you through your pregnancy, including prenatal and post-partum care.
The planning and managing of your pregnancy begins with a thorough exam by Dr. Kaufman at your first prenatal visit. It is important that we get as complete an understanding as possible of your medical needs and circumstances. At this visit, we'll gather information about your overall health and lifestyle, your family history, your past pregnancies, if any, and your menstrual history.
Please inform us of any allergies you have and any medications you are currently taking. We will also perform a series of blood tests not only to detect any potential problems such as anemia, but also to get vital information such as your blood type, Rh- factor, blood sugar and and exposure to previous infections. We provide pre and postnatal care, however, your delivery will be performed by a physician with whom Dr. Kaufman collaborates.
We will be able to assist you at every phase of your pregnancy and can answer any questions you may have.
